Lives of Documents —
Photography as a project
2023
The exhibition presented in the main galleries at the Canadian Centre for Architecture in Montreal is a reflection on the role of photography as a research tool, on its relevance and actuality, as well as on the subjectivity and authoriality behind images - a mediated representation of reality. The project offers an overview of the practice of established artists, presenting archival material, a series of studio visits, oral histories, publications and site-specific installations alongside selected works.

As part of the curatorial and research team, I worked in close contact with the CCA exhibition and editorial team, with the curators Bas Princen and Stefano Graziani and with the numerous artists exhibited.
