Trained at ETH Zurich and Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio, Giacomo has worked across several geographies, collaborating with offices and institutions such as the Canadian Centre for Architecture (Montréal), Triennale (Milan), Herzog de Meuron (Basel), Case Design (Mumbai), and Muck Petzet Architekten (Munich). His work has been published by Werk, Bauen+Wohnen and Oz Journal and has been awarded both by the Federation of Swiss Architects and the Seoul Metropolitan Government, South Korea.
He currently is editor at trans magazin, co-coordinator at Unmasking Space—a platform and initiative for student-led teaching at ETH Zurich—and a founder of the soft resistance collective, which works at the intersection of art and architecture to envision alternatives to the normative home.
