Chiasso Jazz Festival

Developed for the XXIII Chiasso Jazz Festival, the scenography was a collaboration with Francesca Morello. Organic brass shapes were arranged in a pattern based on "So What", the first track on the 1959 album Kind of Blue by jazz legend Miles Davis. An homage to modal jazz and to the warm sound of brass instruments, the shapes were set in a dark atmosphere and reflected the lights projecting ever-changing silhouettes and reflections.
