This project was developed in collaboration with Francesca Morello as a contribution to the call for entries organized by the Ticino section of the Swiss Architects Federation, in September 2020. It won the first prize in the photography section and was exhibited at Villa Saroli, Lugano.
While the competition was meant to focus on the definition of a new post-pandemic reality, our composition and its accompanying text argued in favor of moving beyond the need to define clear distinctions between what belonged to yesterday and what will characterize tomorrow. Considering time as an entangled thread formed by a sequence of advancements, comebacks, and reconsiderations, would break the endless cycle of growth and obsolence.
