Unmasking Space:
pedagogies of student activism
20.09.2025–05.10.2025
Ca’Buccari
On view at Ca’Buccari, Venice, from 20 September to 5 October 2025, 'Unmasking Space: pedagogies of student activism' tried to bring to one place all the multitudes that have constituted the collective since the very start. The exhibition was accompanied by a three-day public symposium comprising of talks, workshops, walks, shared meals and the launch of Unmasking Space: a handbook for student activism. Fostering solidarity across student movements, for the first time a constellation of organizers and guests came together in order to share their work and pedagogical approach.

The show included installations by Assemblea Permanente per la Palestina Libera, Akshar Gajjar, Laia Meier, OCIO (Osservatorio CIvicO sulla casa e la residenzialità), Deepthi Puthenpurackal, and Sean Vegezzi. A table spanning across the gallery spaces provided a glimpse into three years of student-led teaching at ETH through archival material by Sean Vegezzi, as well as printed matter by Shriya Chaudhry, Laurene Cen, Selin Doğaner, Martin Kohlberger, Marie Langholz, Office Party, Leon Schade, Rémi Madrona, and the soft resistance collective.
